1. Our purpose
The blog helps people in Silchar, Hailakandi, Karimganj (Sribhumi) and Barak Valley find the right doctor and clinic, understand how online booking works, and learn when to see a doctor. It is written in plain language and is never a replacement for a consultation (see our Medical Disclaimer).
2. Who writes and who reviews
- Posts are written by the DrSetu team.
- Posts that give health advice may be reviewed by a qualified, registered doctor. When they are, the post says "Medically reviewed by", names the doctor and links to their verified profile.
- A post without a named reviewer is a general guide (for example, about clinics or booking) and is not medical advice.
3. Sources
Health facts are checked against trusted sources such as the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, ICMR, the National Health Portal and WHO. We do not give medicine doses or treatment plans; those are decided by your doctor.
4. Sponsored content
If a post is ever sponsored or paid for by a doctor, clinic or company, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored.
5. Updates and corrections
Every post shows the date it was last updated. If you spot an error, write to us at support.drsetu@gmail.com; we review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
6. Doctor and chamber information
Doctor profiles are created from information the doctor and chamber provide, checked by our team before listing, and updated by the chambers when fees, schedules or leave change.
